The history of Elders Real Estate Port Macquarie dates back to the establishment of Teasdell Real Estate Pty Ltd in 1977. Originally at the corner of Short & William Streets, its operations may have been more modest than today, but its ambitions were every bit as grand scale as ours are now. From the beginning, the formula for success has been based on a high degree of local knowledge, honesty, experience, integrity, professionalism and service. Those qualities continue to drive us forward in our fourth decade. Our Licensee In Charge, Bill Bodkin, joined the Teasdell team in 1984 and was part of the transition process that saw the agency join the Elders fold in 1986. Robyn Gleeson joined the business in 2002, becoming our Managing Director – and Bill’s co-principal – in 2004. It was shortly after this that we moved to our present home, and extensive office on Clarence Street. The business today covers every aspect of real estate – sales, property management, letting, holiday rentals, sale of commercial property and auctions. Elders Real Estate Port Macquarie has a dominant presence in the Mid-North Coast sector, with a profile recognised across Australia. We are proud to be part of a real estate network – founded in 1839, by Alexander Elder – that now has more than 450 offices across the nation with branches overseas as well.
